Before you do that, first you have to set the scale which we already have the variable from previous tutorial. On the right window you can see the unfolded parts are already without flaps, now you can layout them up.
By doing that you can hide confusing flaps (glue tabs).
On 2DPatternWindow toggle off Show Flaps. Simplify the way you see things could easier to manage. Don’t worry it always like that if you press Unfold button (automatic unfold), this is the step where human brain must taking over. Now we have boat.obj file opened in Pep, as you can see that we have chaotic parts in unfolded 2D window (right). I’m going to use the same model as the last tutorial. Remember in the previous tutorials that Pep can’t edit the 3d file, it only help us to convert 3D planes into 2D planes and has the ability to edit and adjust the layout and flaps position. So here it is the next step which is unfolding step in Pepakura 3D Designer (Pep). For a quite a long time since the last time I update this tutorial section.
